Research use only

Every product sold by Titeris is a research reference material, supplied strictly for laboratory research use. Nothing we sell is a medicine, a food, a supplement, or a cosmetic, and none of it is intended for human or veterinary consumption, injection, ingestion, or any other form of use in or on a person or an animal. By placing an order, you confirm that you understand this restriction and that you will use anything you purchase from us only in a manner consistent with it.

This isn't a technicality we've added to the small print. It's the actual legal basis on which these compounds can be sold in the UK at all. Products such as BPC-157 and TB-500 are not controlled substances under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, so it's lawful to buy, sell, and possess them as research materials, but marketing or selling them for human treatment or therapeutic use falls under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, a separate law with real consequences for sellers who cross that line. We describe what a compound is and what's been studied about it, never what it will do for a person, because that's the actual boundary the law draws. We are not a laboratory. What we publish against a listing is documentation supplied by our own supplier's third-party testing, credited to the lab that produced it, not work carried out by us. That documentation typically confirms a compound's identity and purity; it does not typically cover sterility, endotoxin load, or heavy-metal screening unless a specific listing says otherwise. Eligibility and age restriction

You must be 18 or over to purchase from this site, with no exception. By placing an order, you're confirming, as a binding condition of that order, that you meet this requirement, that you're legally able to enter into a contract with us, and that you intend to use anything you buy strictly for research purposes and not for human or veterinary consumption. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age before an order is dispatched, and to cancel and refund an order where we reasonably believe this condition hasn't been met.

These eligibility conditions exist together, not separately. Being 18 or over doesn't, on its own, make an order appropriate; you also need a genuine research context and an understanding that what you're buying isn't a consumer health product. If either condition isn't true for you, please don't place an order.

How an order is accepted

Placing an order through our checkout is an offer by you to buy the products in your basket on these terms, not a contract by itself. A contract between you and Titeris is only formed once we accept your order, which we do by sending a confirmation. Until that confirmation is sent, we're free to decline an order for any reasonable reason, including a pricing or stock error, a failed age or eligibility check, or a suspected fraudulent payment. If we decline an order after payment has already been taken, we'll refund you in full.

An order confirmation covers the products, quantities, and price agreed at the point of order. It doesn't amend anything elsewhere on this site, and it doesn't override the research-use-only restriction above, which applies to every order regardless of what's written in a confirmation email.

Pricing and payment

Prices shown on this site are in GBP and include applicable taxes unless a listing states otherwise. We take reasonable care to keep pricing accurate, but a genuine error can still occur, whether from a manual mistake, a system fault, or a supplier price change we haven't yet reflected. If a pricing error affects your order, we'll contact you before dispatch to confirm the correct price or to cancel and refund the order in full; we won't dispatch an order at a price we know to be wrong without giving you that choice first.

Payment is taken through the methods offered at checkout. We don't store your full payment card details ourselves; that's handled by our payment provider. You're responsible for making sure the payment details you give us are accurate and that you're authorised to use them. We reserve the right to cancel an order where payment can't be verified or is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent.

Shipping and refunds

Delivery timing, dispatch, and packaging are covered on our shipping page, not repeated here in full, so check that page for the current position before you order if delivery timing matters to you. Our refund policy page sets out the return window, condition requirements, and how a refund is processed. If something's gone wrong with your order in a way that page doesn't cover, get in touch through our contact page and we'll handle it directly.

Limitation of liability

Products are supplied as research reference materials, with whatever documentation is stated on the relevant listing at the time of your order, and on the express understanding that they're for research use only. Titeris is not liable for any use of a product outside that stated research-use-only purpose, including any human or veterinary use, since that use would fall entirely outside what the product was sold for and what you confirmed when you placed the order.

Where documentation is published against a batch, it reflects what our supplier's third-party testing actually covered, no more. As explained on our documentation policy page, that typically means identity and purity, not sterility or heavy-metal screening unless a listing states otherwise, and we won't be held responsible for a use case that assumes coverage a document doesn't actually provide. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Intellectual property

The Titeris name, logo, and the text, layout, and original imagery on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and they aren't licensed to you for reuse beyond ordinary browsing and personal reference. You may not copy, republish, or repurpose our product descriptions, documentation write-ups, or site content for a commercial purpose without asking us first. Any third-party laboratory or supplier documentation we publish remains attributed to, and the property of, the party that produced it; we credit those sources rather than presenting their work as our own, and you should do the same if you reference it elsewhere.

Governing law

These terms, and any order placed through this site, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute arises that can't be resolved directly between you and Titeris, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over it. Nothing here removes any statutory protection you're entitled to as a consumer under UK law; where these terms and a mandatory consumer right conflict, your statutory right takes priority.

How these terms may change

We may update these terms from time to time, whether to reflect a change in how we operate, a change in the law, or simply to make an existing term clearer. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order; a later update doesn't retroactively change terms you already agreed to. We'll update the "last updated" note above whenever a substantive change is made, so it's worth checking this page again if you order from us regularly rather than assuming nothing has moved since your last visit.
